About
Hi — I'm Ann.
I'm an ML/AI engineer who likes to build things that think — agents, models, and small systems that turn messy real-world data into decisions you can act on.
Lately I've been deep in applied reasoning: tool-using agents, structured outputs, and running capable models locally and on the edge instead of leaning on the cloud. I learn by building — most of what's here started as "I wonder if…"
What I work on
Machine learning and AI, with a bias toward things that ship: agent design, local/edge LLMs, machine learning models that answer tough questions, and the glue that makes a model actually useful.
Background
My first foray into building applications started with Microsoft FrontPage, back when getting something onto the web felt a little like magic. I moved through the early rise of WordPress and the evolution of modern web development, eventually bringing in the analytical skills I developed in another life working with statistics and data. Today, I combine that builder mindset with machine learning, artifical intelligence, and a healthy curiosity for figuring out how things work—and how to make them work better.
